6 Ways For A Christian Woman To Find a “Titus 2” Older Woman

Are you longing for a godly, “Titus 2”  older woman to encourage and guide you? Below are 6 ways for a Christian woman to find a “Titus 2” older woman:

First things first: what is a Titus 2 older woman? We can find the description of a godly “Titus 2” woman in God’s word.  Here it is–not surprisingly–in Titus 2:1-5!

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

So here are 6 Ways For A Christian Woman To Find a “Titus 2” Older Woman!

1. Pray. I can’t tell you how many times I forget this! Ask the Lord for someone who displays the specifics of the verses in Titus 2:2-5.

2. Look. Your church is a prime spot if it is a Bible believing church. Attend more than just the Sunday service to up your chances of meeting such women.

3. Ask. Start with your pastor or other leaders you respect.  Ask other Christian young women you meet.

4. Talk. Strike up a conversation. Listen with Biblical discernment as you find out more about her.  Does she fit the Biblical description of a Titus 2 older woman?

5. Meet. Humbly ask her if she would have time to come to your home or meet for coffee.

And lastly,

6. Move on or move forward. If she doesn’t have time, be gracious and begin the process again. If you do meet and you two connect, reach out again. Whether your interaction is short-lived or a life long friendship, let God sprout the seeds and see how He blesses you.
